Royce Reed Quits Reality TV, Confirms She Won’t Be On ‘Basketball Wives Miami’
Apparently, there rumors were true. After 4 seasons, reality star Royce Reed will not be returning to VH1’s Basketball Wives’ Miami. This summer, we shared rumors that Royce, Jennifer Williams and Kesha (who had only been on one season) were given pink slips. It’s no secret, that for the past few seasons, tension has increased between the show’s executive producer, Shaunie O’Neal, along with cast mate Evelyn Lozada.
Royce confirmed the news on twitter, explaining that she’ll be continuing with other business ventures.
So what’s the reason for Royce’s departure? An official statement from VH1, Royce, nor Shaunie has been released. However, it’s no secret that at one point, Shaunie did complain that Royce’s story-line for the show as limited because she couldn’t film or mention her relationship with ex-boyfriend/baby-daddy NBA baller Dwight Howard. So who will replace Royce? Again, no official/confirmed report(s). However, rumor has it that there will be TWO new women, one of whom is a real basketball wife. Anywho, what do you think of Royce’s departure? Will the show suffer or was it time for Royce to exit stage left?
