Idris Elba, Octavia Spencer Win Golden Globes + Peep the Carpet Fashion

The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards held last night at the Beverly Hilton was a night of high fashion, surprises and gold. Viola Davis was a frontrunner for her role in “The Help” for the Motion Picture Drama category, however she lost to the legendary Meryl Streep.

But co-star Octavia Spencer took home the globe for best supporting actress in the movie. Idris Elba also won his first golden globe as Best Actor in a miniseries for his role in the BBC Drama “Luther”. Peep the full list, along with some of our favorite (and not so favorite) red carpet style.
