Drake Reveals DMs From Celeb Friends Trey Songz, Kendrick Lamar & Tristan Thompson Before They Were Famous
Rapper Drake has always had his finger on the pulse of what’s hot in music, and provided his superstar platform to introduce many of our favorite artists to the world. For example, fellow Canadian artist whom he’s rumored to be beefing with – The Weeknd – made one of his first mainstream splashes on Drake’s sophomore album, “Take Care,” after months of underground success. Drizzy took to Instagram with a post full of Twitter DMs from other celebrities, playfully reminding everyone of how far they’ve come! His caption read:
“Logged into my twitter today and got a quick reminder that time is in full flight…a lot of blessings to be aware and appreciative of for so many of us…take a quick moment to digest the progression in your life no matter how small or large. Then get back to it”
Before Kendrick Lamar became the King of LA, he was featured on “Take Care” along with The Weeknd, and wanting to know when Drizzy was coming to the west coast.
Drake is notorious for shouting out his ex girlfriends by name in his music, but who knew Paris Morton was a real person?
The Champagne Papi also reminded us that prior to becoming the official Toronto Raptors ambassador, he was already cool with basketball greats. Below are DMs from Kevin Durant and Tristan Thompson. Is that Drake’s phone number?
Singer Trey Songz revealed last year that he almost signed Drake to a record deal early in his career.
Drake’s post shows them exchanging Blackberry information on Twitter! Ha!
He even saluted the dearly departed A$AP Mob CEO, A$AP Yams.
We wonder what other celebrities have slid in Drake’s DMs!
