Victor Cruz’s Girlfriend Dishes On Supporting Her Man for the Superbowl

It’s Superbowl Sunday! And NY Giants’ wide receiver, Victor Cruz‘s, good luck cheerleaders are ready to show him love. The 25-year-old is known to celebrate each touch down with a salsa dance. And there are already predictions that he will win this year’s Superbowl MVP. So hopefully his girlfriend and daughter’s support will help him bring the title home.

Cruz’s girlfriend, 27-year-old Elaina Watley, is proud of her relationship with Victor, which began in high school and continued as she began managing him through her Marketing and PR Firm, Brand Infinite. She said,
“I went to every game while I was pregnant. I went into labor two hours after the Atlanta Falcons game. My water broke. It was probably from me jumping up and down… I talk to people in his support system and I tell [them] to encourage him. I text him before every game, and I say, ‘Think Big.’ I think if someone didn’t text him, maybe he wouldn’t have had that 99-yard touchdown.”
Yesterday, Victor and his girlfriend boarded a charter jet to Indianapolis (the location of this year’s game), with their 3-week old daughter in tow. Elaina said,
“This is her first time out of the house. Victor said she couldn’t miss a moment. If the baby is there, he wins. He was like, ‘she has to be there.'”
She will be in the stands cheering her man on while daughter, Kennedy, is at the hotel with a baby sitter, dressed in a cheerleader’s outfit with a big “W” on the front of it.

Aawwwwww! What a good way to show support!
