Ruben Studdard Goes Through Massive Weight Gain After Divorce

33-year-old Ruben Studdard, who won American Idol’s second season, recently hit splitsville and divorced his wife of 3 years. The public assumed Ruben was probably thrilled afterward, since he managed to get out of the divorce settlement without owing his ex-wife any spousal support or alimony payments. But apparently the break up has allegedly affected his health. According to reports, the singer has gained so much weight lately, that he’s hit a whopping 400 pounds. Outlets report that his family has become increasingly worried about his health, as a result. Their source confirmed,

“Now his loved ones fear he will die tragically young. He agrees he needs to get help, and everyone is praying he’ll succeed.”
