Soulja Boy & Diamond Respond to Lil Scrappy & Momma Dee’s Negative Comments

If you’ve been watching Love & Hip-Hop of Atlanta, you know that once upon a time, rapper Lil Scrappy dated rapper Diamond (formerly of Crime Mobb). The story goes that Diamond ended her relationship with Scrappy to pursue a relationship with Soulja Boy. On LHHA, Scrappy’s mother (Momma Dee) makes reference to their break-up and has been quite vocal on how she is not a fan of Diamond. Meanwhile, MTV caught Diamond and Soulja Boy together at the BET Awards and asked them how they felt about Scrappy and Momma Dee talking about them (negatively) on the reality show. Diamond explained:
“I wish everybody the best. I feel like only one person can judge me, and that’s God…That’s my past. I’m in the future right now, and I wish everybody the best.”
And Soulja was just as vocal, defending Diamond:
“This is my baby, this is my girl, so anything said about her is basically they’re saying it about me…I’m backin’ her 100 percent, and we’re just focusing on the positive. Anybody talkin’ about her name on TV, that’s just bringin’ us up more. So salute to them, we wish them the best.”
Hmmm.
