Ochocinco Attorney Appears In Court, Pleads Not Guilty

Surprised much? Thursday morning, Chad Ochocinco Johnson’s attorney appeared in court, for the alleged domestic violence dispute involving his estranged wife, Evelyn Lozada. Just the day before, we had learned that he had been charged for misdemeanor battery charges. Before his attorney appeared in court, Ocho tweeted:

According to TMZ, Ocho’s attorney entered a “not guilty” plea to his misdemeanor charge. Although Ocho hasn’t responded to his attorney’s court appearance, earlier Thursday morning he did note that she (Evelyn) should not be blamed. He responded to one of his twitter followers, that suggested it was Evelyn’s fault:
Chad f*cked up not Eve…
If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail. Are you surprised at Ocho’s ‘not guilty’ plea?
