Ja Rule Back In Jail Until Summer + Dennis Rodman Wants Obama To Be Friends With North Korea Leader

Sucks for Ja Rule. Last week, there were reports (and a mug shot or two) that the 36-year-old rapper (real name Jeffery Atkins) had been released from his upstate New York jail stint. As you know, the platinum selling rapper served time for illegal gun possession and tax evasion. And while most of us thought he was being released, that is not the case. The Federal Bureau of Prisons says he has been moved to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, which houses prisoners awaiting court dates or having short terms left on their sentences. His release date is now July 28th.

And in other interesting news, some political folk and normal citizens are a bit baffled by some recent comments made by former NBA baller, Dennis Rodman. Recently, he visited North Korea and met with their new leader, Kim Jong Un. For some of you who follow politics, you know that the United States and North Korea have a tumultuous relationship (there’s some serious beef now over North Korea’s underground nuclear test). During Rodman’s interview on ABC’s ‘This Week’, he explained that Kim doesn’t want war with the United States, but simply wants to have a conversation. Check out his appearance ‘This Week’ appearance.
