‘The Real’s’ Tamera Mowry Explains Why She Waited Until She Was 29 To Have Sex
Tamera Mowry-Housley recently revealed some interesting information about her sex life. In a recent interview with Hot 97, the 35-year-old actress and co-host of ‘The Real’ dished that she was almost 30-years-old (29 to be exact) when she lost her virginity, then remained celibate because of guilt.
I don’t know how to explain this. I’m religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity. And then — you may not understand this — I did it and then I felt guilty, and then I became celibate until I got married.
Co-host Adrienne Bailon applauded her decision:
Just ’cause you only had sex with one person don’t mean you not a freak, and I think that that’s a good thing. I think people think that you could only be a freak by doing it with a bunch of people. You can be a freak and just be a freak with one person. And I think that’s beautiful and dope.”
Later during a taping of the talk show she to the audience:
I waited a long time to have sex. I did. Why did I wait? It’s because we both share the same religious values.
In 2011, Tamera married Fox News correspondent Adam Housely after six of dating. The couple welcome their first child, Aden, last November.
