More Child Support Woes: Stevie J’s Baby Mama Says LHHA Reality Star Owes Over $1 Million For 2 Kids

A potential great story line for reality TV, but more unfortunate press for Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Stevie J (real name Steven Jordan). Additional details about one of his child support cases has been revealed. Earlier this month, the 42-year-old was served with a subpoena to appear in a New York family court for unpaid child support.

According to Carol Bennett, the mother of his two children, the producer turned reality star owes their children a pretty penny. According to Radar Online, he’s scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 25 because he has

failed to obey the support order dated January 10, 2012.

Carol’s rep, Sibrena Stowe d Fernandez, told the outlet,

This subpoena requires Steve J’s appearance or an arrest warrant can be issued by the State of New York. This is not a joke! Since the release of the story in October of last year, Mr. Jordan has not taken any serious steps to satisfy his unpaid child support obligation with our client Make no mistake; this obligation has not been paid, but increases at the rate of $8,550 per month. We are going to take every step to ensure this obligation is satisfied, even if it means petitioning the court seize his television and music royalties, as well as his earnings generated from his new restaurant.

As is customary, Stevie must provide the court with proof of his income and assets and show any paycheck stubs and income tax returns. On February 5th, he and LHHA co-star Benzino officially opened their joint restaurant/bar venture in Atlanta, called Sleazy & Zino Bistro & Bar. Reportedly, this is  where he was served with the subpoena. Allegedly, last year, he owed owed an alarming $1.28 million in child support and over the course of 14 years, has only paid Carol $132,220.30.

Stevie J has five children with four women, one of whom is LHHA’s Mimi Faust (they share a daughter named Eva). Stevie married LHHA’s Joseline Hernandez in 2013.
