Evelyn Lozada & Carl Crawford Deliver Healthy Baby Boy

Congratulations are in order for Evelyn Lozada (38) and Carl Crawford (32). Early Saturday (March 22nd), the former Basketball Wives star and Los Angeles Dodgers athlete delivered a healthy baby boy. The Insider’s Nina Parker reports:

At 3:55 AM MST Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada gave birth to a son, weighing 8 pounds and 21 inches long, with Los Angeles Dodgerssuperstar fiancé Carl Crawford by her side.  Lozada exclusively tells Parker, “I’m literally on cloud nine! My baby boy is so handsome and I’m so geeked! I have been waiting for this little man to arrive and seeing his beautiful face is breathtaking. Thank God he came out quick.”  Lozada goes on to reveal that Crawford, his family, Lozada’s daughter, sisters and nieces were also all there.

Just a week before delivering, Evelyn posted Instagram messages, anticipating the birth of her second child. 

Everything grows rounder and wider and weirder, and I sit here in the middle of it all and wonder who in the world you will turn out to be….No doubt you’re a son of mine, You make me feel happy even when I’m sad, because the formation of another life makes me glad. Proud of you I am, I already know how you’ll be, a smart ‘lil’ man for mommy to see, no worries from me a mom to be, to a special baby boy I can’t wait to see.

This is Evelyn’s second child. Reportedly, this is Carl’s third. The two have plans to jump the broom later this year. Congrats!
