Shaunie O’Neal Is Sick To Her Stomach At Sundy Carters Comments About Cancer Patients On ‘Basketball Wives LA’ Finale
After watching the finale episode of Basketball Wives LA finale, Shaunie O’Neal is weighing in, expressing her displeasure. Shaunie, who is one of the Executive Producer’s of the Basketball Wives franchise, is upset about a verbal spat between cast mates Brandi Maxiell and Sundy Carter. Specifically, Shaunie says that she’s disappointed in Sundy’s comments toward Brandi, about her having fertility issues. Shaunie took to twitter, writing:
For the record, as the executive producer of Basketball Wives, I do not condone the extremely mean behavior that took place on tonights episode . The complete disregard and disrespect shown toward people suffering from cancer has made me sick to my stomach and I am extremely upset and disappointed at what I have seen. The five minutes of fame isn’t worth it. My heart goes out to @brandimaxwell and the countless cancer patients and survivors who witnessed this reckless behavior.
On the finale episode, both Brandi and Sundy get into a yelling match, both shouting insults. Some viewers suggest that Sundy went ‘below the belt’ by bringing up Brandi’s need to have fertility assistance in trying to conceive another child with her husband. Brandi has shared her story of surviving cancer on this season to viewers and cast members while filming.

As someone who is fighting uterine cancer this pissed me extremly off and i find it disgusting another woman who attack a woman about her womanhood and about having kids. This is a very painful situation and as a woman she should be more sensitive.
I guess Sunday never seen someone die of cancer she should of held her tongue I had my mother die of cancer in dec29 1993 she died in my arms do you know how I felt Sunday I still hold that pain everyday and still I wish your family the best Sunday but you owe the world an apology baby ASAP ….
