[VIDEO] NeNe Leakes Talks RHOA Shop With Arsenio: Paycheck, Firing Rumors & Porsha’s Request to BRAVO Before The Fight

Last night (April 23rd) NeNe Leakes took her talents to the Arsenio Hall Show. The ‘VERY RICH’ Dancing With the Stars contender chatted about the Real Housewives of Atlanta. During her segment, she continued her support for cast mate Porsha Williams and spilled some additional tea about their BRAVO paychecks, Porsha’s request in terms of Kenya Moore and reports of which cast mates have gotten pink slips. Peep a few excerpts below.

If Kenya brings more ratings to the show:

Oh please, we had eyeballs before Kenya came around…We’ve always been the #1 show in the franchise…What’s good is the network is that you can hiring ppl that are willing to do anything for $1.50. So when I get ready to negotiate and ask for $10, I can’t even get it cuz you gon do it for $1….That’s a problem.

If she could imagine that a fight would break out during the reunion:

No, honestly I did not. Once we got out there, you know, the moment I walk in–the night before, I hafta speak for every girl, nobody can really sleep because it’s really negative and what you guys don’t know is

that we shot this so long ago. And then we all have to come back together and face each other so it’s really, really negative….I had no idea, it happened so quick. My eyes were bugged…I very much support Porsha…

On Kenya using props:

I remember Porsha asked them, Can you stop her from pointing the thing. And nobody did anything. I actually think that they thought it was going to be funny….Porsha is fragile. She’s definitely been through a lot.

On why she covered Porsha’s mouth after the fight:

Listen, I’m a mom. So, I immediately was just like, ‘cuz Porsha scared me for a minute. She acted like she had blacked out or something…And I wanted her to be quiet because she was saying so much and I didn’t want her to say something that would incriminate you.

Reports that Cynthia, Porsha and Marlo have been fired from the show:

Marlo ain’t never been in.

If the stress of the reunion show is worth it because of their salary/compensation:

Awww, whatever. You know what? You know, the pay is okay. But i don’t know if its worth what you saw on the clip.

I think the thing that annoys me about Nene is that whenever she is around she just sits there like she is being bothered. At the reunion especially…she just sat there like she was ready to go and whenever she was asked a question home girl didn’t crack a smile. I get that you “are above the drama, and a world class actress turning down gigs” but you don’t have to sit there with the stank face. To me its attention seeking…you sit there like your so annoyed and people ask you what’s wrong and you say nothing. It’s what children do.

I realize alot of people don’t like NeNe.And because of that it’s easy to put a spin on something she does.For instance her facial expressions,people sometimes misread them.I seen the interview with Arsenio.She explained that before the reunions everyone is pretty tight and they know it’s gonna be negative etc.She explained that her facial expression is because she doesn’t want to be there.Because it’s getting ready to a negative situation.But,she has to be there,it’s in the contract.I don’t think it was just to get attention.

I like that Nene told that Porsha asked Bravo to stop allowing Kenya to point the scepter at her. Bravo didnt do it and now this is what happens. Ish got REAL!

nene is right kenya and cynthia need to go cynthia just got balls this year she was nothin moore than a whining scared confusedwoman who started that mess at the pillow party by runin back and tellin somthing she shouls have kept to herself it is what it is
