Omarion Discusses Gay Rumors, ‘Love & Hip Hop LA’ And Pregnant Girlfriend
Omarion’s been in the game for a long time but now it seems he’s coming into his own. On a press run, the former B2K front man played it cool as he entered The Breakfast Club hot seat. Wasting no time, the show’s funny man Charlamagne tha God made jokes as he was grilled on everything from his leading lady to Love and Hip Hop LA rumors. Not confirming nor denying his placement in the show, he was all smiles and laughs as they addressed his future daddy days and gay rumors. Check out the excerpts below then press play to watch the interview in full.
Angela Yee: Ya lady’s pregnant—Your having a boy, you wanted a boy?
Yeah I felt like I was going to have a boy
Charlamagne tha God: What made you want to shoot up the club at this point?
I don’t know. I really have a special lady in my life and we just connected on that level and it was time for that
Angela Yee: So you guys planned for it?
It wasn’t plan but it was a real turnt up night. It was during my birthday weekend, it was one of those things and it was kind of like a question like ‘baby are you sure’ and I was like ‘baby I’m sure’.
Angela Yee: Did she say “don’t take it out” or did you say “I’m leaving it in?”
It’s kind of like one of those things like should I pull out and I don’t know and then it was like okay.
Charlamagne: How long were you together at that point?
Probably a year.
Angela Yee: Then you guys signed up for Love and Hip Hop LA?
What are you talking about? I can’t confirm that. I’ve been doing this for a long time, entertainment, and I think there is another part of me that people don’t really understand so if I did get the opportunity to let people in my life and get another opportunity to understand who I am, I wouldn’t mind it.
Angela Yee: Since you won’t confirm or deny the LA Hip Hop and Love reports—they say they’re more interested in your relationship with a 19-year old boy?
I’m so tired of the world trying to sex play Omarion, they want me to be gay so bad. I come up from a time where privacy and mystique was important. So a lot of the chicks that I’m sure y’all know that I definitely smashed, I’m not going to discuss that.
Angela Yee: Did you tell your girl about that list?
Yeah we had that conversation.
Charlemagne: You kept some names off?
Nah I didn’t leave any names off. I told her everybody that I could remember.
Charlemagne: Industry chicks too?
Yeah, at a point in time we’re probably going to run into them.
