Check Your Language! Monica Lewinsky Has Beef With Beyonce’s Partition Song
Did she just tell Beyonce, don’t come for me, unless I send for you?
Monica Lewinsky is not here for one of your favorite Beyonce songs. As you may or may not recall, in Beyonce’s song ‘Partition’, Beyonce refers to a sexual act with her lover, mentioning Ms. Lewinsky. On the track, Bey rhymes:
Now my mascara running, red lipstick smudged
Oh he so horny, he want to fuck
He popped all my buttons, and he ripped my blouse
He Monica Lewinski’d all on my gown
Pretty, catchy–right? Well, Monica doesn’t find this the least bit amusing. You’ll recall that she was involved in a highly controversial sexual act with former President Bill Clinton. In an interview for the May 8 issue of Vanity Fair, Monica criticizes Queen Bey for the reference. She writes:
Thanks, Beyoncé, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.’
Eeek. [Billboard]
