[EXCLUSIVE] Rapper Fabolous Accused Of Theft, Sued For Causing Musician Anxiety & Depression
He continues by saying neither Fab or Def Jam reached out to him to try and get a license to use his music. Kelley says due to them stealing his music he has lost out of profits from the song he created. He says they were even bold enough to register the song claiming they were the writers of the music.
Kelley says they specifically took his music sped up the tempo, distorted and damaged the musical and vocal characteristics in an attempt to make sure nobody knew the song was stolen.
Further, he says that Fab’s actions have caused him mental and emotional harm. He says he has experienced distress, anxiety and depression. He claims Fab stole from him and he needs every penny to live since he is in retirement.
He also adds that his lawyer sent a letter to Def Jam and Fab but they never responded. Kelley is suing for money made from the song and to stop them from continuing to steal his music without paying him.
