[Interview] Exclusive: Luke James Talks Morning Sex & Love

Luke James is an old school meets new school singer. Known to sing on topics of love, sex, and relationships, he’s the perfect person to partake in a quick NSFW conversation. While running around at the 2014 BET Awards last weekend, theJasmineBRAND.com correspondent Smith spoke with the r&b crooner about everything from sex to Beyonce. theJasmineBRAND.com: When’s your most favorite time to have sex?

Luke James: Oh sh*t, morning. You got the morning wood, its nice and proper, my baby can just jump right on and have her way.

theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s your favorite sexiest album of all time?

Luke James: Marvin Gaye, Midnight Love

theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s the biggest lesson you learned about love?

Luke James: Be honest. That’s it, life is too short not to be happy.

theJasmineBRAND.com: What’s the most annoying interview question somebody asked you?

Luke James: Anything pertaining to the personal life of Beyonce. I guess it does good or whatever, it’s ridiculous. It’s about the music.

theJasmineBRAND.com: What would you say is your most memorable times from that experience?

Luke James: Just touring the world and going around the world. I said it, I wrote it down and it happened, the idea that I manifest that is absolutely amazing.

Another memorable time from the MCWT was meeting his girlfriend. The New Orleans native is dating Beyonce’s dancer, Canadian, Kim Gingras. Gingras has been on tour with the star for Mrs. Carter World Tour—which is probably how their romance started—she’s currently traveling the states for On The Run as well.

He revealed his relationship on his Instagram last week and was surprised about the amount of backlash he received because of his interracial relationship.
