Absolutely not. I think that it’s very important that you realize that if you are on television and your significant other is on television with you, then you are wide open for the world to know about your business. That is why my 6ft’8 chocolate, sexy husband stayed his a** off camera. So, take a page out of Nicci Gilbert’s book and if you don’t want your relationship on TV then don’t have your personal relationship mate on TV.
thejasmineBRAND: Now, Angie was saying that she’s probably not going to be returning, do you think that she should return or she shouldn’t?
I think that she should do what she thinks is the best for her brand. I had to make that decision as well. I don’t think that it’s a bad thing for her to decide that she doesn’t want to do it. We’ve had her for two seasons. It’s been a great ride in terms of the success of the franchise. So if she feels like it’s time for her to go, I think that she should go with her heart, her mind, and her business managers advice.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Some of the cast members have been very vocal about how they felt snubbed by the Grammy nomination and Faith (Evans). How did you feel about the Grammy nomination and how that all went down?
You know, it’s interesting because you had Kelly Price on that album and you had Fantasia as well and none of those ladies had any issues with it. The bottom line is that we were all made very much aware that this was a Faith Evans album. First lines of R&B Divas was that ‘I want to do a compilation album with all our r&b singers’, so Faith produced the album not unlike Hughes Juke Joint or some of those other collaboration album and I think that if you have your business hat on, you understand that contributing to a record means that you contributed to a Grammy nominated record and I think that
