Last night, Wendy Williams celebrated her 50th birthday in NYC, at OUT Hotel. The talk show host’s party included a performance by Chaka Khan and music by rapper Lil Jon.

Other celebrity guests included Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black), The View’s Sherri Shepherd, comedic actor Brian Hooks, Richard Pryor, Jr., Erica Mena (Love & Hip Hop NY) and 106 & Park host Bow Wow.

Just 24 hours after her birthday, Wendy celebrated with guests on her show. The special segment included a surprise by Asbury Park Councilman, John Loffredo, during an ‘Ask Wendy’ segment. He explained to Wendy that the city of Asbury Park was so proud of her that they named a street Wendy grew up on Wendy Williams Way. She also received a life size cake and another magical performance by Chaka. Check out the photos.
