Oftentimes, movies surrounding black stereotypes, seem to have controversy attached to them. You’ll have audiences that will agree, as well as audiences that will disagree. Some people will be offended, whereas some will think the depictions are true.
Such is the case for a new highly-buzzed about film. Produced, written and directed by Justin Simien, Dear White People is slated for an October 17th release. The cast includes: Tyler Williams, Tessa Thompson, Brandon P Bell, Dennis Haysbert, Teyonah Parris, Kyle Gallner, Malcolm Barrett, Brittany Curran and Marque Richardson.
