[EXCLUSIVE] Beyonce & Jay Z Win Court Battle Over Idea & Music Stealing Accusations
Jones accused Beyonce of stealing her concept for recording a visual album, like B did with her latest titled “Beyonce”. She also said that B infringed on her rights to the nickname “Peaches” and by using he term “Female King”. Further, the lawsuit accused Jay-Z of stealing her rights to the phrase “as hard as” .. which the rapper has used in his hit songs.
The woman accused Katy Perry of stealing the song “Roar” from her without permission and also said that she had the idea first for a duet between Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams.
Then on July 22nd, the federal court judge sided with Beyonce & Jay, along with the other artists claiming the woman’s allegations are absurd and that her claim that they stole her ideas and music through satellite technology is unrealistic. Further, the judge notes that the copyrights she claims were infringed on by Beyonce and Jay are words or phrases that are common and not copyrightable.
Thus , the judge threw out the entire case and awarded the woman NOTHING from her lawsuit. See the EXCLUSIVE Court Documents.
