The numbers are in. Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson’s thriller No Good Deed, pulled in impressive stats. The Sam Miller directed and Will Packer produced film pushed ahead of the summer’s reigning box office champion Guardians of the Galaxy with $24.5 million in its opening weekend, according to studio estimates from box office firm Rentrak.
Before the film hit theaters, theJasmineBRAND.com chatted with Elba about how he prepared for his role as a charming, yet psychotic character.
He also reveals that one of the most challenging scenes for him to film (spoiler alert), was the physical fight scene with co-star Taraji.
