[INTERVIEW] Syleena Johnson On ‘Marriage Bootcamp’, R&B Divas Atlanta Rumors
Yes he was, but in the end it helped us.
theJasmineBRAND.com: What can your fans expect to see from you (on Marriage Boot Camp), that maybe they don’t necessarily see of you on R&B Divas?
More emotional and more vulnerable… I’m also calmer and more peaceful.
theJasmineBRAND.com: What surprised you most about your experience on the show?
That it was hardwork. It is a real program with real exercises.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Speaking of R&B Divas, we’ve heard some rumors that we’d LOVE for you to clear up. There are reports that TV One has not given the cast members the green light on a new season. What can you share?
No comment. However if there is a new season, I will gladly do it again if they will have me.
theJasmineBRAND.com: We’ve also heard that you’ve begun filming. Any truth to this?
No, that’s not true.
theJasmineBRAND.com: If you do return for another season of R&B Divas, is there anything
that you’d do differently?
No not at all. I will be myself as I always have been. It’s what my fans expect from me
theJasmineBRAND.com: Couples Therapy will be released this month. How would you describe this album?
I think it is my best work so far. It is personal and I think that it can fit everyone, in every kind of relationship. It also features Leela James, Willie from Day 26 and Dave Hollister.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Is there anything else you’d like to discuss?
Well the album is coming October 27th and I filmed a movie with it so it should be a new experience for my fans. Oh and I have a new book coming called “The Weight Is Over” which discusses my journey with body image in the industry.
