More details are being released about Taqoya Branscomb, the mother of Mathew Knowles’ youngest daughter, Koi. This week, Taqoya spoke about the controversy during an interview with INSIDE EDITION.
When asked, ‘When you told Mathew Knowles that you were pregnant with his child, how did he react?’
She said, “It can’t be my child.”
Before the pregnancy, Taqoya says that things between her and Mathew were positive:
He treated me like I was the love of his life.
But when she had little Koi, she says Mathew refused to play any role in her life, not even making an effort to meet her.
He does not want to be a father. He makes it very clear.
According to the outlet, this week, Taqoya came face-to-face with Mathew in court as she fought to prove he is the father. She wants him ordered to pay child support.
By coming forward, Taqoya’s history has now been part of the focus of the controversy. Reportedly, she was once arrested for prostitution.

Stories like this makes me sad cause Koi is so innocent in this situation. But we all make mistakes and I pray Matthew comes around and be a father in her life…wow…this is getting to be..peace..
Really, I don’t feel that her past should be an issue here. Regardless of that, he is that baby’s father and should provide for her. WTF is wrong with this man, he must be going thru a mid-life crisis making babies all over the place and then denying them. He should’ve worn some protection, vasectomy or not.
