(EXCLUSIVE) Nicki Minaj Settles Legal Battle Accusing Her of Stealing “Starships” Music
Reportedly, Minaj also claimed that the two songs do NOT even sound alike. Her camp requested that the legal battle be dismissed and Tanaka be awarded nothing from the lawsuit.
Despite the Minaj’s alleged denial of stealing Tanaka’s track, she (Minaj) privately settled the case this week.
According to the court documents, this week Minaj filed docs in federal court stating that both her and Tanaka are dismissing the case. The court docs state they are agreeing to pay their own attorney fees and every claim against the other is dismissed. The case was closed the same day. See the exclusive court docs.
