Jason Derulo Calls Jordin Sparks A Liar: That car was purchased, not LEASED! + Shows Receipts (Literally)
Friends, we couldn’t make this stuff up, even if we wanted to. Another messy split, has gotten even messier. The back and forth continues between former couple Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo. As previously reported, the couple broke up in 2014 after three years.
So how have things gotten messier? Glad you asked. This week, Jordin stopped by The Breakfast Club and the conversation surrounding the BMW that Jason bought for her was brought up. Long story short, Jordin says that the car was actually leased, not bought.
She recalls the incident stating that she basically wanted to get rid of it after the split:
If he wanted it, he could have it. I dropped it off at the BMW dealership and said, ‘You can deal with it.’ I bought myself a Jeep.
When asked if the car was leased, she replied:
I mean that’s what was said through conversation and I was just like ‘Wait a minute. What?’
She continued:
I was like, ‘I didn’t even know’. I was just like here, it’s at the BMW dealership. Go pick it up. You go get it…I wasn’t paying the payments because I was under the impression that it was purchased. So it’s whatever….
