Kelly Osbourne Leaves ‘Fashion Police’, Amidst Giuliana Rancic Controversy
There is one less co-host on Fashion Police. On Friday, E! released a statement, announcing that Kelly Osbourne was leaving the popular show.
Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.
As you know, the show has been swarmed with controversy, since Giuliana Rancic made what some consider inappropriate comments about Zendaya Coleman’s Oscars red carpet hair style. In short, Giuliana suggested that the faux locs that the former Disney star was sporting, looked like they smelled of weed.
Before Giuliana’s two apologies (via Twitter and via video), Kelly had threatened to the quit the show, tweeting:
