Reportedly, Terrence Howard, star of Fox’s hit TV series Empire, role may be cut back due to his personal drama. Earlier this month, the 46-year-old Oscar-nominated actor quietly divorced, Mira Pek, allegations of domestic abuse surfaced from ex-wife, Michelle Ghent. If you watched the first season of Empire, you may recall that at the end of last season, Howard’s character Lucious Lyon, was arrested and taken to jail for murder. According to Page Six,
There’s concern that the controversy in his personal life may impact how he’s perceived on the show, and it seems Fox executives don’t want that kind of energy around.

    The show will not be the same without him. Columbus short was irrelevant to Scandal but Terrance is necessary for Empire.

    This show will not last without Terrence… We love the chemistry between him and Taraji.

    The show will not last without Terrence. He was the only reason why I watched. Although, I’m happy to see a black actress working, Taraji is just not a good actor to me (my opinion)
