(EXCLUSIVE) Dr. Dre SHUT DOWN in Battle Over Beats Headphones w/ Ex-Business Partner in Court
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Dr. Dre was SHUT DOWN by a federal court judge in his multi-year long battle with his ex-business partner who helped launch Beats Headphones, with the music mogul’s lawsuit accusing the man of ruining the business’ reputation being thrown out of court and he being awarded NOTHING.
Beats Headphones – founded by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine – filed a federal lawsuit against, Steven Lamar, an ex-business partner who worked on Beats for a period of time prior to it being launched.
Lamar sued Dre and Iovine back in 2006, claiming he was owed money from the sale of the headphones. Dr. Dre and Iovine reached a settlement with Lamar where he receives 4% royalties on sales of certain types of Beats headphones.
