Serena Williams Beats Sister Venus at US Open: She’s the toughest player I’ve ever played.

Congratulations to Serena Williams! On Tuesday night, she faced and won against her older sister, Venus Williams, in the U.S. Open quarterfinals. Moving two matches from history, she moved into the semifinals at Flushing Meadows with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 victory in the historical Williams vs. Williams rivalry. After the win, the pair met at the net and embraced each other. Serena said in an on-court interview:

She’s the toughest player I’ve ever played in my life and the best person I know. It’s going against your best friend and at the same time going against the greatest competitor, for me, in women’s tennis.

    The only way Serena won is that Venus let her win. Did you see the part where Serena hit the ball to Venus and she just stood there? They should be (Called Out) for their (Shananigans)…#No Shade, Just Facts….#No Bueno

      That’s not true. If you know tennis when they hit that ball it is coming at a high rate of speed. She didn’t hit it because she couldn’t move to get there fast enough. You are the only one thinking such negativity!!
