On Tuesday (October 6th) Kanye West gave a lengthy interview with Showstudio (during Paris fashion week). And as expected, Ye left us with some entertaining quotes while answering questions from fans and critics about his family, clothing line and presidential plans for 2020. Why he calls himself a visionary or creative genius:

Because otherwise I’m called celebrity. I’m called nigger. I’m called rapper. And when they use the word celebrity, nigger, or rapper. It’s not in a positive way…. So I have to define who I am… I’m a creative genius. And it’s proven and I will continue to prove it.

How he feels about the criticism on his clothing line: 

Yeah it’s like I’m convinced that I know what I like, and I know that. I just know, I know and I don’t care.

The political assumptions made about his clothing line: 

The assumption that you know, my artistic expression, of clothing is, has soothing to do with race, or politics or more or politically correct term ironically for racism, is racist in itself.
