Mendeecees Harris Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison, Wife Yandy Releases Statement
Mendeecees Harris, a cast member on the popular VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop-New York, has received a 97-month prison sentence (8 years) in Rochester on a federal drug trafficking crime.
According to the Democrat & Chronicle, the reality TV star’s plea called for a sentence of eight to 10 years in prison. The site reports:
He has been free under a bail agreement in which his earnings from the show and his paid public appearances are turned over to the federal government. That amount was more than $100,000 in April but may have significantly grown since then.
