Mendeecees Harris Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison, Wife Yandy Releases Statement
Mendeecees Harris, a cast member on the popular VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop-New York, has received a 97-month prison sentence (8 years) in Rochester on a federal drug trafficking crime.
According to the Democrat & Chronicle, the reality TV star’s plea called for a sentence of eight to 10 years in prison. The site reports:
He has been free under a bail agreement in which his earnings from the show and his paid public appearances are turned over to the federal government. That amount was more than $100,000 in April but may have significantly grown since then.

I never understood why she would keep making babies and get married to someone that she knew was facing serious jail time. Idk. That’s not a commitment I could have made or that he should have even allowed her to make. What a waste.
That was her choice. He cannot tell her what she should or shouldn’t do. I don’t think he is a bad person, just someone who was doing the wrong thing.

Atleast he accepted responsibility. I agree with Breeze, it was crazy to marry him and have kids. 8yrs is a long time to be in a MEN’S prison. Don’t drop the soap.
