Congrats to NFL’er Cam Newton! The 26-year-old quarterback for the Carolina Panthers and his long-term girlfriend Kia have welcomed their first child together, according to Terez Owens. In October, photos surfaced of Kia’s baby shower.

[Sidebar: There are unconfirmed reports that Kia previously was a stripper, who went by the name Hazel]. Newton has remained mum about his new bundle of joy, but this celebratory dance (see below) during Sunday’s game triggered some speculation.

A photo has also surfaced of Newton posing with a nurse who helped deliver his baby at the hospital.

Update #2. Newton has confirmed the news on Twitter writing:

My longtime girlfriend and I were extremely blessed to have a son last week. Our family is excited and thank you all for the well wishes!
