Kim Kardashian is tired of the slut shaming and folk bringing up the fact that she made a sex tape, over 13 years ago, with Ray J. 24 hours after defending herself on Twitter from the likes of Bette Midler and Piers Morgan, she posted a personal essay on her web site. Check it out below:
Hey, guys. I wanted to write a post elaborating on my tweets last night. In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives.
I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime—and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body?

It always seems to come back around to my sex tape. Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago. And people still want to talk about it?!?!
I lived through the embarrassment and fear, and decided to say who cares, do better, move on. I shouldn’t have to constantly be on the defense, listing off my accomplishments just to prove that I am more than something that happened 13 years ago.
Let’s move on, already. I have.
I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.

I am empowered by my husband, who is so accepting and supportive and who has given me a newfound confidence in myself. He allows me to be me and loves me unconditionally.
I feel so lucky to have grown up surrounded by strong, driven, independent women. The life lessons I’ve learned from my sisters, my mother and my grandmother, I will pass along to my daughter. I want her to be proud of who she is. I want her to be comfortable in her body. I don’t want her to grow up in a world where she is made to feel less-than for embracing everything it means to be a woman.

It’s 2016. The body-shaming and slut-shaming—it’s like, enough is enough. I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me.
I am a mother. I am a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entrepreneur and I am allowed to be sexy.

Kim is allowed to be sexy. Yes, she looks amazing. However, at this point in her career her nude photos are corny now.
Kim has accumulated millions and has the beauty and fame that these “instagram THOTS” are willing to sell their souls for.
Yet, there seems to be an intentional mental blockage that Kim suffers from. She should at least try to understand where other people are coming from. Kim and her hubby seem very small-minded.
At thirty-five years old, 2 kids, and a marriage why does she need to post nudes for the world to see? She is missing that part. You can be proud of your body but she still craves attention and validation from the world.
If she isn’t viewed as sexy her self-esteem won’t be able to function on that because her self-worth is her body and her sex appeal and she feels as though she has nothing to offer without it.
Hence, the reason why she is behaving like a young IG THOT, even after all the money and fame.
I and so many others are over Kim and her nude photos. She is corny.

I do think people are too hard on her. But honestly, that’s kind of the price you pay for being such a big celebrity. Unfort Kim that’s the way it is and I don’t think it will change. I do not agree with it but I do not think it will change.
I’m sorry but you are wrong. There are plenty of big international stars who aren’t hated as much as she and her girls family are. She is so hated because she is a very poor role model. She is the ultimate get to the top on your back. At least other’s who have been accused of doing the same (ie Jennifer Lopez) had REAL talent. She contributes nothing meaningful or good to society. It is because of he we HAVE instagram THOTS trying to get rich and famous. It’s because of her young girls are making home made pornos trying to escape poverty. That family is horrible and deserves everything they are now getting.
Honestly,What has Kim done but make money?The reason that people keep bringing it back to the sex tape is because like@Ac said its what her fame is built on.Her claim to fame is body image and fashion.She hasn’t accomplished anything that young girls or women should beholding to her for.If she wants to be looked at for something other than her body.Call the press when she’s chairing a fund raising event for the UNCF,Flint,and many other charities and causes that I’m sure she contributes to.The moral is Kim if you want to be seen as something more then show us the other sides of you you besides your front and back without clothes.
If feel like when she posts pics like this, it comes right back around to the sex tape. We know who Kim b/c she put her body out there for the world to see. And she’s still doing it now. It’s all connected. Sex is how she became relevant and sex is how she’s staying relevant. You can post nudes in a tasteful way. The bathroom nude was just trashy.
@ Alaya_MingLee….Exactly! If you are sick of people reminding you of your 13 year old sex tape, then stop posting nude pics which circumvents right back to how you got your come up! Put some freakin clothes on and show that you have evolved from that. And all this about her husband empowering her and supporting her…lets be real hon, your husband is a narcissist and you are his prized trophy. He feeds off of other men looking at you because it makes him feel like he’s the man!
Kim is like a fat person who looses weight and feel good about their accomplishment and start exhibiting personality and behavior changes because loosing the weight didn’t solve the underlined issues why they got so big from the beginning. Kim has spent thousands of dollars on fake boobs, butt and a nose job and claims she feels empowered and confident but yet she still seeks validation from everyone and everywhere she can. Kim wants people to see her as a role model, well, she is a great role model for the hundreds of venal, immoral, immodest, unethical and unsavory people that follow insipid life.

She was famous for making a sex tape. She is now famous for marrying a successful musician. She has done nothing. She has no education, skills or talent. She has a nice shape. Other than that, she and her family are net negatives in this world. You make a sex tape: you live with that forever.
A shape that is totally kept in that way by surgery which is fine,but as others have said you keep posting nude photos and people will always talk about you negatively. Live with it!!
