Tinashe Linked to Calvin Harris + Releases “Super Love” [New Music]

Singer Tinashe dropped her new single, “Super Love”. The single is produced by The Dream & Tricky Stewart. The track is uplifting with a 80’s bounce pop to it in which some compare to Nicki Minaj’s hit single, “Super Bass”.

On the single, she says:

I have felt a strong urge recently to release a song that promotes positivity, love, and light, Superlove” is a celebration of happiness. More specifically, it celebrates the kind of happiness that is so immense and infectious, that you can’t help but to rejoice in it. I hope to eulogize this wonderful energy and make people feel good, love harder, and dance together.

On the track, she sings:

I’m sophisticated, super classy, Uncle Luke, freak, nasty

And totally non related news, Tinashe MAY be dating Calvin Harris. A source tells Page Six that the DJ is “casually” seeing the “Superlove” singer. The source shares,

They have been seeing each other on the DL. It’s only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now. They’ve been on a few dates.

Tinashe and Harris met in the studio in 2014 when they collaborated on the song “Dollar Signs.” They were rumored to be writing songs for Rihanna at the time. The duo was spotted on a date at Nobu in Malibu on Saturday. Neither have yet to comment.
