Peter Thomas: I don’t want a dime from my divorce to Cynthia [Bailey]. [VIDEO]
Peter Thomas has taken his talents to the Wendy Williams Show, addressing his split from Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star, Cynthia Bailey.
As previously reported, the couple had been married for five years and separated for almost six months.
Earlier this month, Cynthia told E! that she was officially ready to file for divorce.
It’s as simple as that. I still root for him. I want him to win. I still love and support him. We are just not going to be married anymore. I am really at peace with my relationship with Peter because I really feel like I gave it all I could give. I can’t speak for every women on the Earth, but I know what I am able to do and I feel like I have done as much as I can do and still be happy and still respect my husband and still love my husband. I can be a better friend to him at this point in the relationship than I can as his wife.
During his interview with Wendy, Peter says that he actually found out online that they were divorcing. He is adamant that he never cheated on Cynthia, nor did he steal any money from her.
He adds that while he was happily married, he believes that married life was a challenge for Cynthia because they were under a microscope from the RHOA cameras. Regarding their actual divorce, Peter shares that he doesn’t want a dime from Cynthia. Their split will be on the upcoming season of the show and Peter will be compensated, unlike previous seasons where the husband’s are not paid. See the full interview below.
