Amber Rose Defends DJ Duffey

It’s been a tough season for reality TV newbie DJ Duffey. If you watched this season of Basketball Wives LA, you witnessed a shaky experience for the popular female DJ.

In addition to having an altercation with reality TV vet Tami Roman (see the clip above), the show’s executive producer Shaunie O’Neal made it quite clear that she wouldn’t be invited for another season (see the clip below).

During the reunion, Duffey apologized to BBWLA’s Angle Love for dismissing her video girl career, but unfortunately it wasn’t accepted (see the clip below).

Recently, Duffey’s close friend Amber Rose hopped on social media, defending her. She also mentioned that she was surprised how Duffey was treated on the show. Posting a photo of the pair together, ‘MUVA’ writes:

My Bestie @iwantdjduffey is literally one of the sweetest people I know. So caring and so genuine. I do believe in the midst of defending yourself things come out in the wrong way…. I know cuz I’ve been there. I was so surprised on how she was treated on #bbwla tho but hey there’s a bestie for everyone and she’s one of mine. I’m happy she was the bigger person to apologize for the misunderstanding and she will grow from that. Duff u are an amazing mom, entrepreneur and DJ keep ur head up and remain positive. Let’s continue to spread Love and embrace one another’s differences. Love you sis

Was it necessary for Amber to defend Duffey? And was Duffey treated unfairly on BBWLA?

She was not interesting at all I was bored every time she talked and her attitude was very immature she is not prime time or no time for tv…as for her friend defending her ohhh well it is what it os dont think its.very creditable gorl by….

Real people are simply extinct,,,, when they are around they are treated like BLACK SHEEP, Duffy is the BOMB.COM wish I could chill with her. She was definitely treated unfair on the show, it was necessary for Amber to take up for her ( Another Real MF)

  Everything that happened to Duffy was of her own doing. No on treated her unfairly. She basically should not have been on there from the beginning. What player was she dating ,married, divorced or engaged to forever? The show was to much for her.

I am not surprised by how Duffey was treated. Shaunie wants her a$$ to be kissed, and Tami is an ancient puppet who has made a 25 year career in violence and lack of appropriate coping skills. Hopefully one day those old little girls will become intelligent grown women, until then expect Tami to continue to be an attack dog, minion and Shaunie to be a covert bully.

Agreed Demure Diva. Duffy was herself while everyone else was acting and putting on a show. All of the Angel’s are boring and more so than Duffy. Jackie is the only interesting character on that show so please don’t use the excuse of Duffy being boring.
