Kandi Burruss’ Baby Daddy Says RHOA Is Staged

On this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss introduces viewers to her daughter Riley’s father, Russell ‘Block’ Spencer. Referring to Block as a ‘deadbeat’ father, Kandi reveals that he has not been in their daughter’s life and because of this, Riley has no interest in having a relationship with him. Here’s a clip of Kandi emotionally discussing this with RHOA cast mate Sheree Whitfield.

Apparently, Block isn’t a fan of how he was portrayed on the show and hopped on Instagram posting a photo of him, Kandi and Riley with the caption:

.we’re ALL 1 HAPPY FAMILY!!!!! ?…. @kandiburruss @rileyburruss !!! #iHateYall2 coming SOON!! #rebuildingHipHopblockbyBLOCK #BlockEnt #AtlantaHousewives

After being criticized in the comment section of his post about being a deadbeat, he responded that the show was scripted.

u kno all sh*t scripted, u gotta wait Til the end of the season, it’ll all come 2gether.

Why these fame mongers drag their children into/thru this kind of mess is beyond me. Here she is 14 and has been part of this show for years. Hopefully, she won’t suffer the consequences of her parents decisions. Momma Joyce sure isn’t much help the way she carries on. Pray for the children cause the grown folks clearly have their own agendas – scripted or not.

      I agree

Joyce is a despicable, shameful, wretch. I would be ashamed to have a mother or grandmother who is fame hungry, classless and clueless about how to behave like a lady. Its even more shameful after seeing how Kandi’s father’s absence (because of Joyce’s bitter, angry bird behavior) has negatively impacted her life, one would think this old bird would try to allow the new generation to evolve, but no….she only thinks of being a talking point on tv, not the stability of her only grand daughter.

All joyce said he should pay for his child what is wrong with that? Some men want to have children but don’t want maintain them not because the mother can afford it. they must play part in the child life. A lot children are suffering because of some men like Block.

Chris, lets begin by looking at the date of the post, my comment was written prior to that show. The comment was meant to define her lack of character, frequent episodes of diarrhea of the mouth for making irresponsible statements, as well as her willingness to always blur personal boundaries.
Secondly, Kandi chose to procreate with the deadbeat, so since her mother is always willing to cast stones, she should throw a few at her daughter. Women who choose boys (including irresponsible older males) who are irresponsible to father their children, should take some onus for the pain they’ve caused these children. A lot of children are suffering becasue of women like Kandi , (luckily she has a talent which allows her to garner wealth, but her mentality is still one of a woman of her socio economic upbringing), not just the fathers.

My dear her daughter want her there. Who tell you kandi knew this man was deadbeat as you proclaimed before having a child for him?

Your responses show a very literal thought process.

Chris, did you hear that Block was married and Kandi was the jump off???

Unfortunately this pattern seems to be just like the circumstances were with Ms. Joyce and kandi’s father. Mature parents MUST figure out a way to love their child (ren) more than they hate their ex. That’s it! That’s all!

For one that looks like an old picture that he posted and for 2 you wasn’t worried about it being scripted when you signed up for it. Only when they showed his true colors now it’s scripted.

MOMA JOYCE IS A MAMA BEAR AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A MOTHER WHOSE IN MY CORNER NO MATTER WHAT. I GOTTA A GOOD MOMA BUT I WOULD LOVE A RIDE OR DIE WHETHER I’M RIGHT OR WRONG KINDA MOMA LIKE MOMA JOYCE

    • Guest at 9:59 pm

Mama Joyce needs to take several seats and be quite. Her voice irritates me! She is determined to get a peach like the other ladies, but it won’t happen. The only person I feel for is Riley.

    • Sherri Hurt at 2:23 pm

I had a ride or die Mother (still can’t believe she’s gone) But she NEVER acted an ass like Joyce. My mother always had my back (and still feel her holding me up) But what Joyce does is just messy. No need to act the way she does to make her point. No need to be a bitch to stand for/with your daughter. A lot of the things Joyce gets in is NONE of her damn business and has nothing to do with Kandi. The things she has said about Phaedra is nothing more then an old bitch being nasty and hatefull. You can be ride or die. I have been blessed with many ride or die people in my world BUT the messy does not go along with it.
