Yandy and Mendeecees are actually married. They took vows and committed themselves to God.

The source continues,

Contractually he signed a ‘power of attorney’ over to Yandy. They did their wills together, so they have rights as a couple. However, their situation is tricky. At the time of their wedding ceremony, his plea wasn’t signed yet, so they weren’t sure if he was going to have to pay restitution.

They add,

If he would have had to pay restitution, Yandy would be responsible. And that’s something that he didn’t want. So they had to wait for his plea deal to be signed and unfortunately it was after the 60 days.

As previously reported, the couple, who have dated on-and-off for eight years and have two children together, exchanged vows in 2015 with a two hour VH1 wedding special. Mendeecees is currently incarcerated, after pleading guilty on drug trafficking charges. We hear that more details about their marriage will be revealed on the next LHHNY episode. In the meantime, Yandy’s hubby has taken to Instagram clarifying their relationship status. See his post below.
