Fans of Lee Daniels’ new hit show “STAR” can expect a few guest celebrity appearances. On an upcoming episode, entitled “Code Of Silence,” Gladys Knight and Tameka “Tiny” Harris will make guest appearances. Fox says about the episode,
Carlotta continues to search for the truth about Simone and Star’s past, as a familiar face reaches out for Jahil’s help. Meanwhile, Miss Bruce works on preparing the salon to compete in an upcoming hair show.
They unexpectedly arrange for the empress of soul, Gladys Knight, to introduce their showcase, which includes a live performance from the girls, who sing a cover of one of Knight’s classic hits in the ‘Code of Silence’ episode of STAR.”
Star is a musical drama series created by Lee Daniels and Tom Donaghy for Fox. It revolves around three talented young singers who navigate the music business on their road to success. The series, which is set in Atlanta, consists of original music, along with musical fantasy sequences, as dreams of the future.
It stars Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Benjamin Bratt and Queen Latifah.
