Jim Brown Blasts John Lewis
Jim Brown is taking John Lewis to task. The former NFL’er has openly supported President-elect Donald Trump and is co-hosting the Pre Inauguration Day Party for Trump. During a new interview, Brown blasted Rep. Lewis’ comments against Trump. Brown does praise Lewis for his civil rights work, but isn’t a fan of him bashing Trump. He states,
When I hear him cry the blues about Mr. Trump, and saying it’s an illegitimate presidency, I take offense to that. If it was illegitimate why is it going on? If you’re gonna impeach him, impeach him.
He added,
But don’t cry the blues because you did not get the vote out and this man had a genius way of winning the election.
