DJ Khaled Snags Instagram Series, Named Creative Director
More business moves for DJ Khaled. This week, WeBuyGold announced theirĀ first show “The Bless Up” featuring mogul and social media king DJ Khaled.
“The Bless Up” follows DJ Khaled as he spends a day with a lucky fan or fans to bless them up. Fans submitted their personal stories for consideration to be blessed up by DJ Khaled by following @WEBUYGOLD on Instagram and direct messaging them a video describing an obstacle they are facing in their lives.
The company also announced that DJ Khaled will serve as WeBuyGold’s Creative Director. In this role, Khaled will assist in developing, producing and appearing in WeBuyGold’s original content while also curating and exposing new music talent.
WeBuyGold was launched out of digital media company Naritiv Inc., one of the first companies to develop branded Stories content for Snapchat and Instagram. WeBuyGold’s original content will offer fans an inside look into the lives and music of their favorite and emerging stars. The company’s initial programming will live exclusively on each part of Instagram from the Feed (individual posts and posts with multiple photos and videos), to Stories, to Instagram Live.
Khaled says of his latest venture,
By working with WeBuyGold, we’re to going tell stories in a new way about the biggest and up-and-coming artists across music. Our first show ‘The Bless Up’ embodies everything I am about. It’s an opportunity for me to show how grateful I am and share that with my fans by blessing them up.
