NCIS: LOS ANGELES executive producer R. Scott Gemmill states,
The character was created specifically for Nia to capitalize on her strengths and personality, and we are excited about the new opportunities and dynamics she brings to the show. We couldn’t be happier to have her join our family.
NCIS: Los Angeles premiered in 2009, and stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J. The series follows the exploits of the Los Angeles-based Office of Special Projects (OSP), an elite division of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service that specializes in undercover assignments.
