KimYe Welcome Baby #3 Via Surrogate

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have officially welcomed baby number three! Their baby girl was born on Monday, January 15th via surrogate, weighing 7lbs 6oz.  Kim confirmed their bundle of joy. See her announcement below.

In September, Kardashian confirmed the rumors, that the couple would be welcoming their third child via surrogate. The 37-year-old star has shared her struggles with fertility throughout various seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. On an episode that aired during season ten, she talked sister Kourtney about the surrogate process explaining,

Getting a surrogate and finding someone that you really trust really is so much more for difficult of a situation than you could really imagine.  You have to like make sure that their lifestyle is healthy and they have to go through psychological testing, and it was maybe a year before we finalized our current situation. But I think everything happens for a reason, because the surrogate that I really loved got approved and she is such a nice person, like she’s so easy to talk to and she’s the perfect fit for us, but we have to decide quickly, are we really going to go through with this or are we gonna wait until we feel more prepared.

Reportedly, the surrogate is said to be in her late 20’s and lives in San Diego. She is an African American woman, with a college degree who has been married for five years, with two small boys, is in physical shape, and is a registered Democrat.
