Torrei Hart Takes 9-Year-Old Son To Gun Range [VIDEO]

Torrei Hart is not your traditional parent. Over the weekend, she took her 9-year-old son, Hendrix, whom she shares with ex husband Kevin Hart, to the gun range. Torrei, who has military background, explains of their field trip,

We always go on mommy son dates and today I took him to the gun range. His favorite game is call of duty so I wanted him to feel some live action. I’m an army vet so I have been shooting guns since I was 19. I want to teach him weapon protection and safety at a young age. It was fun and a learning experience.

Apparently Hendrix has an impressive shot. Torrei showed footage of him shooting, captioning the video,

Killed it his first time out.

Good for her! I like that she is teaching her son, rather than letting a video game, tv/movie and music be his only teacher or influence. It seems like so many of our youth find themselves in trouble because they don’t know the law and are in possession of a handgun without a permit.
