Mo’Nique Calls Oprah ‘Fake’
Mo’Nique isn’t finished taking aim at Oprah Winfrey. On social media, the Oscar Award winning actress and comedian compared the media mogul to fake jewelry.
For the past few months, Mo’Nique has launched a Boycott Netflix campaign, which also includes her unfiltered thoughts about Oprah, Lee Daniels and Will Packer. [Click here for Mo’Nique’s issues with Oprah].
This week, Mo’Nique caught wind of a Global Grind interview (via Blogxilla), where Oprah commented on the comedian’s criticism. See the clip below.

Mo’Nique responded to Oprah’s comments, stating
My love. Fake gold shines too, but it doesn’t change the fact that it will turn your neck green. Oprah you keep shining.

Agreed. I saw her when she came to Dallas TX a few years a go. She is a funny comedy and I enjoy her movies. I just wish she would stop with all the negative talk. It’s not helping her cause at all.

Mo’Nique’s mad at Oprah, Lee, & Co. because she wanted to get paid to promote Precious. No one gets paid to promote a movie that they’re starring in. That’s why she has the rep she has. She thinks way too highly of herself. She’s the next Chrisette Michele. Career over and out.
I say go MO…..she is saying a lot of things that have been quiet as kept in her industry….her methods as unorthodox as they may be have started the conversation..(got us talking). If this were a male comedian wonder if reactions would b so harsh if it was a man saying the same thing. She is definitely over dramatic but what do you expect from an Oscar winner??? Get ya life mo
