Safaree Says Nicki Minaj Was Physically & Verbally Abusive

Safaree Samuels is making some serious allegations about his ex girlfriend, Nicki Minaj. The Love & Hip Hop star, who recently broke the internet with his genitals going viral, alludes to Minaj being verbally and physically abusive in their relationship.

Safaree and Nicki reportedly began dating in 2000 and split in late 2014. During an interview on “The Casey Crew” podcast, DJ Envy referred to the abuse saying to him,

I don’t wanna say you were battered but you were an abused boyfriend.

He continued,

Sometimes Safaree couldn’t leave the crib.

Safaree responded, explaining that his life centered around Minaj.

I didn’t really have a life outside of that. I was really comfortable but then the fights and stuff it was getting too crazy. I was like, you know what? I don’t wanna go to jail, I don’t wanna go to the hospital.

He also said that they would have disagreements often, but things would escalate. He said,

I’m not gonna have hands put on me and the verbal—it takes a while to get over that. 

Nicki has yet to respond to Safaree’s allegations.
