Tekashi 6ix9ine Denies Assaulting Police – Them N*gg@s Beat The Sh*t Outta Me!
It has been a wild 48 hours for Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. The multi-colored hair rapper got approached by the police when he parked his red SUV in front of a fire hydrant. When 6ix9ine, 22, (real name Daniel Hernandez) could not produce valid ID, the officer ran his name to discover his driver’s license was suspended. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and taken to the 77th Precinct.
According to New York City police, additional charges were filed against for assaulting a cop after he allegedly grabbed and squeezed an officer by the hand while his handcuffs were being taken off. A police spokesman says he
squeezed the [cop’s] hand, causing pain and swelling.
Records show the “Gotti” rapper is facing charges for second and third degree assault, third degree attempted assault, third degree menacing and second degree governmental administration obstruction.
On Instagram, he gave his thoughts; calling the system corrupt.
I did not touch no police! Them n*ggas is corrupt. Them n*ggas beat the sh*t outta me.
6ix9ine continued,
How did I pull your arm out the socket when I was hand-cuffed?
This isn’t his first brush with the law. Last week, Houston police issued a warrant for his arrest, stemming from an incident in a area mall. He allegedly choked a teen fan on video and was charged with misdemeanor assault. In 2015, he pleaded guilty to three felony counts of use of a child in a sexual performance, after the videos surfaced online. He has continuously denied those allegations.
He did not enter a plea during arraignment in Brooklyn criminal court and posted $25,000 cash bail. Tekashi is scheduled to return to court July 11th.
