WNBA’s A’ja Wilson Criticizes Lebron James’ Lakers Paycheck: WNBA Players Are Underpaid!
WNBA’s Rookie of the Month, A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, has an ax to grind when it comes to female basketball players not getting paid what they deserve.
Upon hearing the news of Lebron James signing to the Los Angeles Lakers for a 4 year/ $154 million contract, Wilson took to Twitter to comment.

Many people suggested that the reason WNBA players are paid so much less is because they’re not as good. A’ja had answers for that.
Lolololol ohh it’s about skill set? ? because I heard a bench player gets paid more than …nvm ? https://t.co/Q41UsxKthZ

Some fans even believed that women get paid less because the WNBA brings in less revenue. A’ja had an answer for that as well.

A’ja maintains that this is not a stab at Lebron, nor is she angry. She just made an observation and pointed out the blatant inequality as it pertains to both leagues.
Fellow WNBA players, Kayla McBride and Skylar Diggins, quickly backed up their colleague’s sentiments.
Dudes really out here talking. Can’t even beat me in horse but have something to say about my bank account. I’m sleep on the hatred and disrespect of the greatest women’s league in the world… y’all realize this is dreams that have come true for us right? Y’all realize this is
