Nicki Minaj Ex Hair Stylist Kim Kimble Speaks Out After Rumors She Was Fired
Celebrity hairstylist/reality star Kim Kimble is flying above the drama after allegedly being fired from rap superstar Nicki Minaj’s glam squad. Nicki is one the many celebrity heads Kim has blessed – including Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, and Halle Berry. Well, Nicki recently swapped Kim for Instagram’s Arrogant Tae, who’s worked with SZA, and Dream Doll. He recently created a colorful ombré look for Nicki’s “Barbie Dreams” music video.
Fresh off of Nicki’s alleged firing, Kim Kimble has a message for critics dwelling in negativity. She captioned her Instagram video with:
“@kimblehaircare I am blessed and highly favored I am what God says I am eagles ? always flys above pettiness I encourage all eagle to fly and don’t let chickens tell you otherwise @hoseacollins93 @cbchawthorne @cbchawthorne thank for you inspiring me always could not have come at a better time”
This must mean Kim is turning over a new leaf. She recently exchanged some pettiness with celebrity stylist, Tokyo Stylez for a comment he made about the pigtail look Kim created for Nicki at the VMAs. He said:
“and let me guess u thought those thin ass ponytails was cute”
Kim clapped back, questioning Tokyo’s cosmetology license. She said:
“Instagram doesn’t create licensed or professional hairdressers. We all get negative comments sometimes, but why try to drag someone else into it when we can support each other? Sending positive vibes and support to licensed hairstylists.”
This kind of wig tugging and thumb-thugging is exactly what leaves us waiting at the wash bowl too long in the beauty shop. Yikes!
